Planning a recovery party? We say DO IT!

Considering a post wedding get together with close family and friends? We say do it! Especially if you’re planning a destination wedding where your family and friends are staying either onsite with you or close by. Nothing cures a wedding day hangover like a BBQ brekkie, a grazing board with some cheeky wine around a fire or even a local pub feed with some refreshing beers. What ever you choose, you can make it as big or little as you like.

Here are some reasons why a recovery party is a great idea.

  1. It’s a great way to bring close family and friends together again to chat about the big day and talk about memories, stories and share photos.

  2. Your close ones will love you for providing a cheeky BBQ brekkie or or organising a hang over cure at the local pub to help ease their sore heads.

  3. Maybe you have left over food from the wedding stored away you can dish out or local wines/champaign to get through .. did someone say Mimosas?

  4. Send some extra time and catch up with your close ones thanking them for coming and properly spend some time with them.
